Q: How do I get started?

A: You simply click the "Register" link which is also on the advertiser homepage. From here you will be prompted to register online with a credit card ($50 deposit toward your pay-per-click charges) to create your merchant account, which takes approx. 5 minutes. Then, you create your mall storefront and other advertising opportunities using our easy to use Storefront Editor.

Q: How much does it cost to sign up?

A: Upon registration the $50 deposit (from a major credit card) is applied towards your first pay-per-click fees on the site serves as the registration fee. From then, your credit card will cover all pay-per-click fees on your account.         

 

Q: How do I register as an Advertiser?

A: To register as an advertiser you can click the "Register" link which is also on the advertiser homepage..

     Terms of Agreement Step 1:  Read the Terms of Agreement, click the "I agree to the terms of service herein" checkbox and click "Next."

      Registration Step 2:  Account Registration includes entering your company information, then click "Next."

     Contact Information Step 3:  Contact Information includes your information, and selection of Login/Password for your VirtualEShopping Advertiser Account, then click "Next."

     Traffic Flow Step 4:  Traffic Flow gives you the option of setting a daily Budget for your account which limits the total amount of money you are willing to spend on your entire advertising account per day. This includes the total dollar amount for all Advertisers listed  with this account. We will notify you via email when your account is close to reaching it's daily spending limit to give you an opportunity to raise the limit for that day or permanently. Then you may Choose your Funding Method. By choosing Manual Replenishment we will notify you via email when you balance is low to enable you to add additional funds to your account. Automatic Replenishment allows you to establish ahead of time the amount you would like to add and at what minimum balance you would like to add additional funds. After you have established these values, then click "Next."

     Credit Card Information Step 5:  In the Credit Card Information section please enter a Primary Credit Card and a Secondary Card if you wish to ensure that if there are issues or your Primary card expires your will Storefront/Cart/Ad Space/Homepage Ads will continue to display. You will also need to select that the billing address is the same as the company address previously entered or enter the appropriate billing address associated with each credit card. Then click "Next."

     Download Step 6:  The Download Software page allows you to download the Storefront Editor which will be allow you to create your Storefront, Cart, and Ad Space. The Mall download is available here as well. If you have already downloaded the Mall to your computer you will not need to do this again. The program will update automatically upon entry. Once you have completed the download  click "Next."

     Add Advertisers Step 7: Add Advertisers- Below is an example of a completed form. The URL you enter will be the one used to link to your site from the doors of your Storefront in the Mall. If you do not wish to any of the elements such as a Storefront, Mall Cart, Ad Space, or Home Page Ad then please leave the checkbox blank. You will be able to add and remove these elements later. Be sure to choose the category that best describes your business. This will be used in the directory of stores in the Mall. When you have completed the form click "Next."

    Review Step 8:  Review your Information. When it is all correct click "Submit."

     Complete Registration Step 9: Congratulations! You have completed the initial registration process for VirtualEshopping.com. You may now Create a Storefront/Mall Cart/Ad Space, Select a Mall and Bid Prices, Create Homepage Ads, or Logout.

Q: How do I create a Storefront, Mall Cart, or Ad Space?
A: After you have logged in to your Advertiser account, click the "Manage
Advertisers" button on the toolbar and then the "Add or Remove Advertiser link" (top left.) Note the Advertiser ID for the advertiser created,  open Storefront Editor from the start menu, login using Advertiser Id and password you selected at registration (the password you selected for you account is the password for all advertisers in Storefront Editor), create storefront, mall cart, or ad space. Q: How do I select Bid Prices to be placed in the mall or the web pages?
A: After you have logged in to your Advertiser account, click on "Bid Management" on the a (above center) and set bids for your advertiser opportunities. Mall location is established through a bidding system that involves the bid price (starting at $.10 per click) and your click volume (the traffic your site receives.) There is a $10.00 limit to the bid price you may set for each opportunity for each advertiser. 

Q: How do I create Homepage Ads?
A: After you have logged in to your Advertiser account, click on "Manage Homepage Ads" (upper right) to create a display or item ad.

Q: I have successfully registered as an advertiser, what's next?

A: Congratulations! You have completed the initial registration process for VirtualEshopping.com. You may proceed to any of the following steps:

  1. Create a Storefront, Mall Cart, or Ad Space
    Login to the administration page using the login and password you selected upon registration. Click the "Manage Advertisers" button on the toolbar and then the "Add or Remove Advertiser link" (top left.) Note the Advertiser ID for the advertiser created,  open Storefront Editor from the start menu, login using Advertiser Id and password you selected at registration (the password you selected for you account is the password for all advertisers in Storefront Editor), create storefront, mall cart, or ad space.   2. Select Mall and Bid Prices
    Login to the administration page then click on Bid Management link (above center) and select malls and set bids for your advertiser opportunities.

  3. Create Homepage Ads
    Login to the administration page then click on Manage Homepage Ads link (upper right) to create a display or item ad.

Q: Do I need to sign a contract to be in the mall?

A: No contract needed. You simply agree to our Advertiser Guidelines when you first register for VirtualEShopping. Our fees are based on a pay-per-click model. Enjoy the benefits of pay-per-click pricing as shoppers in our virtual, 3D shopping malls click to your existing website through your customized storefront, cart, billboard, or kiosk.

Q: Can I set up more than one Advertiser under the same account?

A: Yes.  If you have several entities that you would like to promote on the site, you may register under one account name and set up different Advertiser under the same account and pay for all traffic for all Advertisers with the same credit card.

Q: What is a Storefront Display and how much does it cost?

A: Whether you are a major retailer, a professional services company, a product manufacturer, a tourist destination, or a "mom and pop" store, virtually any business can benefit from a storefront location in any/all of our 250+ virtual, 3D shopping malls. Choose from hundreds of storefront template combinations to create your customized storefront, adding images, slide show displays, audio and video from your existing website or from your creative archives at no cost to you.  Upon Registration you can choose to have an anchor or storefront display depending on the size/nature of your company. Both of these are the 3-D displays that when clicked, lead to your current 2-D website. They have various interactive elements on them such as places for images, slide shows, video, and audio files. We have a variety of templates that are available for your use free of charge. If you would prefer something more specific to your store's architectural design we can help you customize your storefront for an additional fee. Q: Can I have my own 3-D storefront or 3-D store inside the VirtualEshopping Mall?

A: Absolutely! If you are interested in creating your own 3-D space inside the mall we can work with you to design and create a space that works with your existing architectural design or a new idea. The 3-D design created will also be available for use  in all of our 250+ specialty malls at no extra charge. Q: What is a Mall Cart?

A: Our mall cart displays are similar to a “kiosk” in a regular mall such as Sunglass Hut or Dippin’ Dots.  For some retailers, a Mall Cart display will be the ideal storefront to showcase items for sale.  Small items like sunglasses, jewelry, and watches can be featured in 20 interactive elements appearing to rest on shelves.  Choose from numerous template combinations and link to the particular display item on your website for details and purchase. Q: What is the difference between a Kiosk and a Billboard?

A: Our Billboards are located above the storefront space and only contain one interactive element per billboard. Q: How can I advertise on your Home Page?

A Drive traffic to your VirtualEshopping.com storefront or to your existing 2D website with display or item ads on any/all of our 250+ homepages (www.virtualEcincinatti.com, etc.) No contracts, no flat fees, all pay-per-click pricing! Display ads are traditional ads in flash or html formats that feature a product or service from your organization.  Ads are uploaded to our site in our Ad Editor should be sized to fit a space.........(size).  Item ads feature only one product or service and are also created in our Ad Editor.  You will upload an image of your item, a logo from your business, and enter a title, description, price and sale price (if applicable) to create your item ad.  Upon registration, you will have unlimited, 24-hour access to create or modify your display or item ad(s) using our intuitively designed Ad Editor.   See sample display and item ads and get more details.

Q: How do I create/edit my home page ads? 

A:  Login to the administration page using the login and password you selected upon registration. How do I create a Home page Ad? Click the "Manage Advertisers" button on the toolbar and then the "Manage Homepage Ads" link (top right.) You can then see the advertisers for which you have selected the "Home Page Ad"  option. You can choose to "view add," "edit add," or "Create a New Add." You have the choice of creating a Display Ad or Item Ad for each Advertiser.

Q:  What is Click Volume?

A: Click volume is the number of clicks your storefront generates over a certain period of time.  Once your storefront is created by you and submitted to our Editorial Review Department for approval, your storefront will be assigned a wing in the mall(s) you have selected along with advertisers of similar quality.  The location in the wing you are assigned is determined by a combination of your bid price and click volume relative to the other storefronts in your wing. What you bid is the amount you will pay VirtualEShopping.com if/when a shopper clicks the doors of your storefront, where they are transported to the home page of your existing 2D website or clicks on any interactive element on your storefront that transports them to an internal web page in your existing 2D website.  

Q: Where is the desirable VirtualEshopping Mall real estate?

A: The corner storefronts adjacent to the main lobby of the mall are reserved for the advertiser in each wing who have the highest combination of bid price and click volume for that wing. All other storefronts are assigned locations emanating outward from the main lobby, based on bid price and click volume in decreasing order.  You may review the current bid price and click volume for the mall you are reviewing at any time once your location has been assigned by clicking on the mall map in the Admin section.  You may continue to move to more desirable locations within your assigned wing (i.e. moving closer to the main lobby by increasing your bid price and by improving the quality of your storefront to increase your click volume over time.

You may apply to be moved into another wing ONLY when you have reached a corner location (adjacent to the main lobby) in the wing in which you are assigned.  Once you have been reached a corner location in your assigned wing and you wish to transfer to another, you may email us at review@virtualEshopping.com and identify the wing to which you would like to be relocated and our Editorial Review Department will evaluate your request for approval.  You will be notified either way on the outcome of your request.

Q: What is Storefront Editor?

Upon registration, you will have unlimited, 24-hour access to create or modify your storefront(s) using our intuitively designed Storefront Editor. In Storefront Editor, you can upload images, slideshows, audios and videos from your website or image library into interactive elements in your storefront design. Q: What is a Salesbot?

A: Many of our existing storefront and cart templates come with a Salesbot or Sales Persona (coming soon), both free of charge.  A Salesbot is customizable as a male or female, in casual or more formal attire.  You may upload an advertiser logo to be displayed on the chest of your Salesbot.  An audio message may be uploaded for the Salesbot to "speak" when clicked, or you may have your Bot offer up coupons and/or pre-recorded messages to shoppers.  The second feature is not yet available but you will soon be able to choose to assign live members of your staff to “man” the front of your store to chat with shoppers in real time (we call these Sales Personas) Salesbots and Sales Personas do have invisible fences and they cannot travel the mall to promote your store.

Q: What is an interactive element?

A: In Storefront Editor, you can upload images, slideshows, audios and videos from your website or image library into interactive elements in your storefront design.  Here are specifications for each:

Logo: The upper most interactive element (see top, center above) can represent the logo for your entity. Accepted formats include .jpg,.jpeg, .png, .tga or .bmp  formats file formats. You can link to the homepage of your existing website by inserting the URL into proper field for this element.

Images: Any interactive element may contain a fixed image in a .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .tga or .bmp  format.  Each image may have a link to a web page for detailed information or to allow for purchase.  

Slideshows: Any interactive element may hold a slideshow with up to ten images in a .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .tga or .bmp  formats, with a link to a webpage

Audio Files: Any interactive element may include an audio file.  You may record in any of the following formats (.mp3, .wav) and upload the file to the interactive element of your choice.  When a shopper clicks on the interactive element, the audio file will play. You may also include an image file an any of the above formats to complement the audio file visually.

Video Files:  Any interactive element may also include a video file in the following formats: (.mpg, .wmv, .avi).  You may also include an image file that will be viewed "on top" of the video file before it is selected by a shopper.  When a shopper clicks an interactive element containing a video file, the video (with audio) will play for them.

Coupons:  Each interactive element may contain a customized coupon created at the coupon button in the upper right of the Storefront Editor screen.  You have many options for text creation, redemption codes, etc. in the creation of your coupons.  Registered shoppers in the mall may secure, print and redeem coupons from your storefront.

Salesbots:  You may create one salesbot to accompany each storefront.  A salesbot is customizable as a male or female, in casual or more formal attire.  You may upload an advertiser logo to be displayed on the chest of your salesbot.  An audio message may be uploaded for the salesbot to "speak" when clicked.  You may also create a coupon that can be collected by registered shoppers.

Sales Personnas (Comming Soon):  You may have one sales personna in front of your storefront.  A perssonna differs from a salesbot in that a personna has a live person, interacting with other personnas in the mall  behind the image, whereas a salesbot is not backed by a live person.  Salesbots, described above can only have a recorded audio message and hand out coupons.  Personnas, who are tied to a partucular storefront, may interact with others in the mall in real time and may answer sales related questions.

Q: How do I find my Advertiser ID to edit my Storefront/Mall Cart/Ad Space in Storefront Editor?

A: Start by logging into the administration page using the login and password you selected upon registration. Click the "Manage Advertisers" button on the toolbar and then the "Add or Remove Advertiser link" (top left) Scroll down to the list of Advertisers. Q: Add Funds

A: Once you have created an account and depleted your initial $50.00 fee you will need to add additional funds to your account in order for your opportunities to continue to display. You can do this by logging into your advertiser account, clicking on "Edit Billing Info," then "Add Funds." It will show your current balance, allow you to enter an amount and chose which card you prefer to use for the transaction. When this is complete select "OK" to proceed.

 Q: Reports

A: The Reports function allows you to track your usage for all advertisers and opportunities. Simply select an advertiser (or all), select an opportunity (or all) then enter your date range. Your report showing your clicks and cost will be generated.
